The Rum Diary..

Yesterday was my day off from work and it was also payday! There has been a movie that Brad and me have been wanting to see for a very long time. For years we have been checking IMDB to see when it was going to happen..I mean "if" it was going to happen. It was a happy day when they announced that they were going to start filming. Well this movie is called The Rum Diary. I was playing on the internet and found out that it was going to be playing at our favorite movie theater downtown.

We had to go to the first showing of the day because Bradley had to go to school and it was the last day that they were playing. It was Brad, me and two other people in the whole place. We had the balcony seats and they had the floor seats. When the movie was over we still had a couple of hours before Bradley had to go to class. We headed down to Roq La Rue to see what their show was..it was so so. Nothing too interesting. That place is hit or miss on what type of art they are showing.

The weather outside was beautiful. Blue skies and light jacket weather was what type of day it was. I suggested that we should go down to the waterfront. I always forget that we live so close to the water. As we were walking we realized that you were able to see Mount. Rainer. This is something that is only visible to real sunny days.

Mount Rainer

I was watching the jelly fish at the side of the pier. They are the some of the weirdest creatures. The cranes in the background are also one of my favorite things to look at. Brad said the reason that I like to look at them is because they remind me of llamas :)

This is the shot of the pier. The mountains in the background..too awesome.

It was getting close to the time that Bradley had to head to class so we started making out way up to his school. Once we had gotten to Pike Market the sun was starting to set. It was crazy to stand there and watch it happen. Where we were standing was above some other rush hour traffic, but if you look pass it there is the mountains in the background.

The pier in the lower left hand corner is where we were earlier taking photos and watching jelly fish.

All and all it was a good day. With Brad being in school for the semester we haven't really had the chance to go out on that many adventures. We have got to take in all of the sun that we can before it disappears!
