Bradley's school just opened up the new senior studios so the last week they have been having parties in it to show off the new space. On Friday they had the Senior Open House. We had invited some friends to come and check out the space and all of the work that they have been producing. To the left of the sign is the door to Brad's studio. You can see some of the boards that he has been working on.
4 hours is how long they had the open house and it was right during dinner. Brad was told that he was going to do clean up so he had to stick around. Derek and me decided that we were going to go and see if we could find some food. There really isn't that much in the way of chooses to get food. We ended up walking to the old studios and getting some burgers at Blue Moon Burgers. It was a nice little walk.
When we got back Rachael had just arrived. We ate and walked around looking at the art that was in the gallery.
Some of the art that people make is just junk..the perfect example is the blue crate with a balloon on it..yeah.
This is me standing in the gallery.

As I had stated before all of the seniors got new studios. I like the space that Brad has now but he has to share it with 2 other people. I have meet both of them and there is one girl that is super high drama. She is wanting to mess with the lights so its not so bright and make it more "homey." She is a photo major which means that she isn't going to be in there much. Hope that she doesn't win that fight..she is sharing the studio with 2 painters/printmakers.

This is Bradley sitting in front of his desk that he got for free..oh yeah!
I didn't pull my camera out in time but we also had another friend that came and saw what Brad has been up to. I love art friends and Troy knows all kinds of different art events that are happening in Seattle. It very exciting to see all of the work that Brad has been doing and I can't wait to see what is in store in the future! Thanks everyone for coming :)
