Now that Bradley's show is over he was able to finally able to come and hang out with me and my mom. My Mom is pretty much up for anything so she is a very easy person to entertain. There is one place that Bradly has been wanting to go to and this is the Heritage Flight Collection. This place was pretty sweet.
Libby in front of the museum. We forgot to get the card that goes in the camera so all of these shots are from Brad's phone. Glad it takes better pics them my phone!

Libby and Janet in the hanger with the planes..
This is the reason the Bradley was wanting to come to this museum. Here he is standing next to a V2 Rocket. This is the real thing..
There was several old men that were walking around the museum. They love talking about the planes and everything that was in there. One of the guys told us that all of the planes that are in this museum are in working condition and could be flown at anytime. There is only 2 planes that are not flown and that is because they are the only ones in the world, it would be too high of a risk. There are different Sundays that people come and fly these planes. That is something that we are going to have to come back and watch.

Janet standing next to a tank model that her father dealt with in WWII.
This is similar if not the model of the tank that drove over his foxhole in the middle of the night. He said that he dug his holes deep, this is what saved his life that night.
There was a visiting exhibit at the museum the weekend that we went over there. It cost a little bit extra but Brad and I paid it to go into two planes. My Mom decided that she was going to pass on this and I think that it was a good idea. Lots of tight places and climbing. Stuff she can't do with her back and feet problems.
First plane that we went in was a B-17..that was Brad's dream plane.
Brad inside..
Libby by the cockpit..
Libby walking through the bomb bay. Tight spot. I don't know how people that are bigger then I am could work in that space.
